Al Jazeera in its early years was catered to those who lived in the Middle East , specifically Qatar. The Qatari government gave this news site the freedom to publish news without the intervention or influence of the government. This attracted several many Middle Eastern watchers. Many were tired of the propaganda within the news and wanted true facts rather than information snuck in by their governments.
